  • 2-4 tablespoons mayonaise, enough to coat tuna
  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • poppy seeds
Options, to taste
  • pickles, sweet or dill, diced
  • tomatoes, flesh only, diced
  • celery, diced

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Drain can of tuna and dump contents into a bowl.  Add mayonaise, green onions and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Grab 2 biscuits and flatten both together until they are about ¼ of an inch thick.  Place a pinch or two of cheese on top of each dough round.  Next, add a few tablespoons of your tuna mixture, and another pinch or two of cheese.  Bring the edges of the dough together and pinch all of your edges to seal into a ball.
  4. Place each of your tuna bombs into your prepared pan with the edges at the bottom.   Brush the tops with melted butter then sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake until your biscuits are golden brown, between 18 and 22 minutes. Serve warm.  This recipe makes five Cheesy Tuna Bombs.
