Cherry Chocolate Dump Cake
Cherry Chocolate Dump Cake layers cherry pie filling with a dry chocolate cake mix and melted butter, baked until bubbly and set with a cakey crust. Its easy assembly produces a warm dessert ideal for serving with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
- 2 cans cherry pie filling , 20 oz each
- 1 box cake mix 15.25 ounces, dark chocolate
- 3/4 cup butter melted, unsalted
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray bottom of 9x13 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spread pie filling in baking dish.
- Top with dry cake mix; gently shake pan to distribute evenly.
- Pour melted butter over top, tilting pan to cover as much of top with butter as possible.
- Bake 42 to 45 minutes or until mostly dry on top and bubbly around edges.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
