Cherry Chocolate Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cherry pie filling , 20 oz each
  • 1 box cake mix 15.25 ounces, dark chocolate
  • 3/4 cup butter melted, unsalted

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray bottom of 9x13 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Spread pie filling in baking dish.
  3. Top with dry cake mix; gently shake pan to distribute evenly.
  4. Pour melted butter over top, tilting pan to cover as much of top with butter as possible.
  5. Bake 42 to 45 minutes or until mostly dry on top and bubbly around edges.
  6. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
