Cherry Chocolate Shake (Vegan)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water or almond milk
  • 2 large handfuls of fresh spinach
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen sweet cherries (pitted)
  • 1/4 ripe avocado (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 heaping tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 3-4 Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a high-powered blender, and blend until completely smooth and creamy. Serve immediately!

Notes

  • If you don't have a powerful blender, I'd recommend blending together the water and spinach first, until the greens are completely liquified. Then, add in the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
