A perfectly sweet drink full of summer vibes, Cherry Limeade was made for living it up on hot days by the Slip and Slide!

Ingredients
- 12 ounces stemless maraschino cherries with syrup
- 1 cup lime juice fresh suqeezed
- ½ cup simple syrup (see note)
- 2 liters lemon-lime soda
- ice
- Lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- Add the ice to a large pitcher. Pour in the cherries, cherry syrup, lime juice, simple syrup, and soda. (You can add some lime slices to the pitcher too if you like.) Stir to combine.
- Add some ice to glasses and pour in the cherry limeade. Garnish each glass with a lime slice if desired. Serve immediately.

- To make the simple syrup: Add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar to a small saucepan. Place over medium heat and cook just until the sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and let cool before using.
- I don’t recommend making this recipe too far in advance due to the risk of the soda going flat.
