Chicken Drumsticks Curry

This low-calorie, low-carb chicken drumsticks curry recipe is a perfect, effortless way to make chicken legs in a few minutes with minimum ingredients for all super busy days. A healthy and filling recipe for weight-watchers!!!

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 green onions
  • 4 pods garlic
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Prepare a sauce by combining equal parts of soy sauce and tomato ketchup in a small bowl and keep it aside.
  2. To a hot pan, add oil and chopped garlic. Stir fry until golden brown.
  3. Saute green onions till it becomes translucent.
  4. Place the chicken legs in the pan. Fry it for a minute and stir in salt and pepper. Fry it for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add water and cook by covering with a lid.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, pour the soy-tomato sauce and mix well.
  7. Simmer for 3-5 mins on low heat.
  8. Turn off the heat when the sauce gets slightly thickened.
  9. Serve warm with bread naan, roti, and rice.
