Ingredients
- 1 Lb ground chicken
- 1 large egg
- 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
- ¼ cup onion (finely diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (diced small, or more to taste)
- 2 Tablespoons fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 pinch salt and black pepper (to taste)
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl add the chicken, egg, mayonnaise, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands until just combined. Do not over mix as this can make them tough.
- In a shallow bowl add the flour and poultry seasoning and mix well.
- Divide the chicken into 5 or 6 portions and drop one portion at a time into the flour mixture rolling it around to coat all sides and shaping into a flat patty.
- In a large skillet over medium high heat and add the oil. Cook the chicken patties for about 5-7 minutes per side until they are golden brown and a minimum internal temperature of 165° is reached.
- Serve as a healthier alternative to chicken nuggets, serve with a salad, or they are even great in a bun!
