Chocolate Banana Bread

Chocolate banana bread is a sweet and decadent banana bread made for chocolate lovers! Extra moist from the ripe bananas, and loaded with rich chocolate flavors from the cocoa powder and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 3 banana large, ripe
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • cup vegetable oil
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egg large
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x5 loaf pan with pan spray.
  2. Add 3 large ripe bananas to a large bowl and use a fork to mash them very well.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda, ⅓ cup vegetable oil, ⅔ cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, ¼ teaspoon salt, 1 cup all-purpose flour, and ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder to the bananas and mix with a spatula or wooden spoon until combined.
  4. Stir in 1 cup milk chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center of the bread. Allow it to cool completely before slicing.
