Chocolate Banana Overnight Oats
The perfect make-ahead breakfast recipe, these chocolate banana overnight oats are made with creamy yogurt, old fashioned oats, cocoa powder and banana. They also make a great after school snack or post-workout treat.

Ingredients
- 1 cup low fat milk (or any type of milk)
- 1 cup low fat chocolate milk
- 1 ripe banana (mashed )
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- pinch salt
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- ¼ cup Flax Seed
- bananas, strawberries, mini chocolate chips (optional toppings)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together milks, mashed banana, cocoa powder, nutmeg, vanilla and salt. Stir in oats and flax seed to incorporate.
- Divide mixture between four glass jars or keep in bowl and refrigerator overnight. Garnish to serve with banana slices, berries or mini chocolate chips if you wish.
