Chocolate Chip Cadbury Egg Bars

If you want one of the easiest Easter desserts you can make, you have to make these Chocolate Chip Cadbury Egg Bars. These cookie bars are decadent and perfect for an Easter get together or celebration. Including some of your favorite Easter candies makes these bars absolutely amazing.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 TSP vanilla
  • 1 C flour
  • 1/2 TSP baking powder
  • 1/2 TSP salt
  • 1/8 TSP baking soda
  • 1 1/4 C chocolate chips save the 1/4 for topping
  • 2 boxes Cadbury Creme Eggs halved for topping
  • 1 1/4 C pastel m&m’s save the 1/4 for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Put butter in a microwave safe bowl until melted.
  3. Let cool.
  4. Add butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg then mix well.
  5. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together.
  6. Add dry ingredients gradually.
  7. Mix in chocolate chips and pastel m&m’s.
  8. Blend well, and pour into greased 9x9 pan.
  9. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Once out of the oven top with the chocolate chips, m&m’s and cadbury’s.
  11. Set aside to cool.
  12. Cut and enjoy!!!
