Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies here are made with a mix of all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and cocoa powder for a slightly different texture and flavor dimension. Butter and sugars are creamed, then combined with eggs and dry ingredients before folding in chopped almonds and generous chocolate chips. The cookies bake to golden edges while remaining tender. These cookies offer a rich chocolate taste balanced by nutty crunch.

Description

This Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe blends all-purpose flour and cornstarch with baking soda and cocoa powder to create a base with a tender yet slightly crisp texture. Butter is creamed with fine and brown sugars for sweetness and moisture, then eggs are added to bind. The dry ingredients are incorporated gradually, followed by mixing in chocolate chips and chopped almonds for texture and flavor contrast.

Dollops of dough are placed on a baking sheet and baked at 375°F for about 10 minutes until golden brown edges form. Cooling on wire racks allows the cookies to set with a crisp exterior and soft center. The cocoa powder adds a subtle chocolate tone distinct from the chips.

The almonds introduce a crunchy bite balancing the chocolate's richness. These cookies are suitable for those appreciating texture variety in classic cookies.
