Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer, cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and mix until fluffy.
  4. Add salt, baking soda, baking powder, and flour and mix until your cookie dough is combined well.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop and roll into balls and place onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 11-13 minutes.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
