Ingredients

  • 1 graham cracker pie crust prepared
  • 3 cups milk whole
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 3 Tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Whipped Cream or whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Add the milk and cornstarch to a large pot. Whisk until the cornstarch is dissolved.
  2. Place the pot over medium heat. Add the sugar and chocolate chips to the pot. Cook, stirring often, for 6-8 minutes, until the liquid starts to bubble and becomes thick like pudding. Remove from the heat.
  3. Add the butter and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the chocolate into the pie crust.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, until the filling is completely chilled throughout.
  6. Top with the whipped cream.
