Ingredients
- 8 ounces milk chocolate roughly chopped
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate roughly chopped
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granules optional but excellent!
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2-3 tablespoons of your favorite liqueur
Dipping Foods
- sliced bananas
- orange segments
- Oreo cookies
- strawberries
- pound cake cubed
- marshmallows
- pretzel rods
- apples
- Graham crackers
Instructions
- Prepare the foods you want to dip in the fondue and get the fondue pot ready.
- In a heavy saucepan OR fondue pot over medium heat, melt the chocolates with the heavy cream. Continue to heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is smooth.
- Mix in the instant coffee, vanilla extract, salt and liqueur if desired. Add more cream OR liqueur to thin if wanted.
- Transfer to a fondue pot if needed then place in the fondue rack to stay warm.
- Serve with the prepared foods with fondue fork or wooden skewers!
