Ingredients

  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tablespoon Nutella
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • chocolate chips for topping
  • Chopped hazelnuts for topping
  • cacao nibs for topping

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the milk into a high speed blender first. Then add the frozen bananas, Nutella and cacao powder.
  2. Blend thoroughly on high speed for 1 minute until the mixture is completely smooth. You may need to stop and scrape down the blender depending on the strength of the blender you’re using.
  3. Taste and adjust the flavor as needed, by adding a sweetener of choice for added sweetness or more cacao powder for a richer chocolate flavor.
  4. Pour into a bowl and top if off chocolate chips, hazelnuts and cacao nibs, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately for best flavor and consistency.

Notes

  • Storage: Store any leftovers in a mason jar with a lid. They will last for 24 hours, but I recommend consuming them immediately after making. If the smoothie settles while in the fridge, just use a fork to mix everything together again.
  • Substitutes: For similar results, follow the recipe as is. You can use any milk of choice though.
  • * Please note the nutrition label does not include any toppings.
