Chocolate Oatmeal Smoothie

Not only is cocoa a natural source of caffeine, but when combined with ripe berries, bananas, and oats it becomes a creamy and delicious healthy smoothie to keep you full all day long.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup berries of choice ((strawberries,blueberries, etc.))
  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 2 cups spinach (or any leafy greens)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon Flaxseed (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ice (to thicken)

  1. Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and puree until smooth.
