Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Bars

Chocolate peanut butter cookie bars are an easy way to get that peanut butter cookie taste with a lot less work! A delicious, quick, and easy dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup oil vegetable or canola
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup oats
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips milk chocolate or semi-sweet, or a combination

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. 
  2. Combine peanut butter, oil, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well. 
  3. Add flour, oats, and salt. 
  4. Stir until combined. 
  5. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until edges are golden brown and the middle is set. 
  6. Pour chocolate chips over the top immediately after removing it from the oven. 
  7. Let sit 5 minutes to melt, then spread the chocolate evenly. 
  8. Let the chocolate peanut butter cookie bars cool and the chocolate melt.
