These EASY Christmas Blondies, with their chewy texture and fun dots of red and green, are the perfect dessert for the Christmas season!

Ingredients
- 2 ½ cup all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter ,melted
- 1 ½ cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs , at room temperature
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cup mini holiday M&M’s , divided
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9X13 baking dish with shortening and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing, whisk or sift together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl stir together the melted butter and sugar until they are like wet sand.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, scrape the bottom and sides frequently and mix until well combined.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combine.
- Fold in all but 2 tablespoons of the mini M&M’s into the batter; make sure they are evenly distributed.
- Transfer the blondie batter into the prepared baking dish, top with the remaining 2 tablespoons of the M&Ms.
- Bake for 25- 30 minutes until the edges are set and it passes the toothpick test.
- Allow the blondies to cool and then slice them to equal squares and serve.
