- 4 pounds Granny Smith apples , about 8
- 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Peel, core, and chop the apples into large chunks.
- Place the apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a large pot on medium-low heat and stir well.
