Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro , chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil, then stir in the butter and rice.
  2. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until the rice is tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Fluff rice with a fork.
  4. Stir in lime zest, lime juice, and cilantro to the cooked rice just before serving.
