Cilantro Lime Shrimp

Easy Cilantro Lime Shrimp is a quick summer dinner recipe of jumbo shrimp sautéed in butter and garlic with a fresh lime and cilantro sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Shrimp , peeled and deveined (13-15 count)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter , divided
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 lime , zested and juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro , finely minced

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  2. Add half the butter to a large heavy skillet on high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink.
  4. Add in the lime zest, lime juice and cilantro.
  5. Add in the remaining butter, cook for 1 minute, tossing to coat then remove from heat and serve.
