- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or coconut oil
- 1 granny smith apple peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 3 cups milk any
Instructions
Cook the apples:
- In a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add apples and cinnamon and cook stirring, for about 3 to 5 minutes until they have softened. Once the apples are soft, add in the maple syrup and turn off the heat.
Cup of Yum
Assemble:
- Fill each jar with ½ cup oats and ¾ cup milk, and stir. Divide the cooked apple mixture evenly inside each glass jar. Stir to combine and top with the lid.
Refrigerate:
- Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Serve:
- Enjoy cold or warmed up for 30 seconds in the microwave.
