Cinnamon Apples Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced apples and water, cooking for about 5 minutes until slightly soft.
  2. Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the mixture is syrupy, about 5 more minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Serve warm.
