Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, sift the powdered sugar and cinnamon together and then set aside until later.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then add in 1 cup of the powdered sugar and cinnamon combination and mix until well combined.
  4. Continue to add in 1 cup of powdered sugar and cinnamon making sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl until all the powdered sugar has been added.
  5. Mix well until all combined.
  6. Frosting is then ready to be used on cupcakes or stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
