Ingredients
For the Muffins:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter melted and cooled
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
For the Filling and Topping:
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp butter melted
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp milk (enough to make a good drizzling consistency.
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a muffin tin with muffin liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and granulated sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg and milk.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to over mix the batter.
- In a small separate bowl, stir together the filling/topping ingredients. Stir half of this mixture into the batter.
- Place approximately 1/4 cup of the batter into each muffin. Sprinkle the remaining topping mixture on top.
- Bake the muffins for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the muffin comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Mix together the glaze ingredients. Drizzle the glaze over the top of the muffins and then they are ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes
- Store the leftover muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2-3 days or refrigerate them for up to 1 week.
