Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 3 tablespoons water, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat and stir for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool for about 5 minutes.
  4. Whisk in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/4 cup evaporated milk.
