Cinnamon Toast French Toast

French toast topped with cinnamon sugar is a fast and easy breakfast that tastes amazing!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 French bread baguette 1/2" slices, allowed to sit on counter for an hour or two
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 c milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • ⅓ c brown sugar packed
  • 1 T cinnamon
  • butter or cooking spray to cook with

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. heat large skillet over med heat
  2. combine eggs, milk and vanilla in a baking dish
  3. set the first batch of bread slices into the mixture and allow to sit a 1-2 minutes on each side
  4. combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl
  5. place a tab of butter in pan
  6. place bread slices in pan, top with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon sugar mixture and spread evenly over the top flip to other side after 2-3 min or once the bottom is golden brown
  7. cook another 2-3 minutes
  8. repeat until all slices are cooked
  9. top with syrup and enjoy!
