Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 2/3 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and salt. Bring mixture to a boil and boil it for 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the simple syrup to cool to room temperature.
  2. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  3. Pour over ice. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
