Coconut M&M Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 /2 cup butter
  • 1/2 /2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 /2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 /2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 /2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 /4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup coconut M&Ms®

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and combine well. Mix in vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt and baking soda. Slowly cream together with butter and sugar mixture.
  4. Scoop tablespoon size scoops of dough and drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Lightly press the dough with the palm of your hand to flatten. Press coconut M&M® pieces into the top of each.
  6. Place into oven and bake for 8-12 minutes, depending on your oven.
  7. Allow to cool and then remove to an airtight container.
