Cold Lobster Roll

This classic Cold Lobster Rolls recipe is a popular dish in New England. They are delicious, only use a handful of ingredients and are so EASY to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound whole cooked lobster*
  • 1/4 cup celery , thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chives , chopped
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter , melted
  • pinch garlic powder
  • 2 split top rolls
  • bibb lettuce , optional

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Kosher salt, black pepper and chives.
  2. When smooth, toss with chopped lobster meat.
  3. Cover and chill for at last 1 hour.
  4. When ready to serve, whisk melted butter with garlic powder and baste the inside of each split top roll.
  5. Fill with cold lobster meat. Using lettuce is optional.
