Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick seasoned salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix all ingredients together and serve in the middle of the onion blossom. Garnish with paprika and just a dash of red pepper.

Notes

  • Chill before serving - The sauce tastes significantly better after the flavors have had time to blend in the refrigerator
  • Adjust the heat - Feel free to increase or decrease the cayenne and horseradish to customize the spice level
  • Make ahead - This sauce actually improves after a day in the refrigerator, making it perfect for preparation in advance
  • Quality matters - Use real mayonnaise rather than salad dressing for the best flavor and texture
  • Fresh is best - If possible, use freshly ground black pepper for more vibrant flavor
