Ingredients

  • 4 lices sourdough bread
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
Topping Ideas
  • Smoked salmon and red onion slices fresh dill garnish
  • Sliced cucumbers and pesto
  • Diced tomatoes and za'atar
  • Avocado and sesame
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Spray the sourdough bread slices with cooking spray and toast in a toaster, toaster oven, or on a stovetop griddle until they are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Once the sourdough bread slices are toasted, spread about ¼ cup of cottage cheese onto each slice and add your desired toppings. Season with freshly cracked black pepper and enjoy immediately.
