Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter melted, unsalted
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 3 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon thyme or fresh thyme, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients, except for the butter, into a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk to combine them.
  3. Drizzle in the butter, while whisking the whole time. Continue whisking until everything is well combined.
  4. Serve immediately alongside your favorite steak, chicken, fish, shrimp or veggie!
  5. Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight jar for a couple of weeks.

Notes

  • This recipe yields about 1 ⅓ cups of Cowboy Butter for multiple uses.
  • To reduce the spiciness, halve the cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes.
