Cranberry Orange Sangria

Cranberry Orange Sangria blends a homemade cranberry syrup with chilled chardonnay, fresh orange slices, whole cranberries, and a cinnamon stick. Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • cinnamon stick
  • 1 bottle chardonnay

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine the water, cranberries and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil for 10-15 minutes, while the cranberries pop and release juices.
  2. Strain the mixture to remove the cranberries and leave a cranberry sugar syrup.
  3. Combine the syrup with the orange, remaining cranberries, cinnamon stick and wine in a pitcher.
  4. Chill for at least 3-4 hours and serve.
