Cranberry Sauce Whisky Cocktail

A delicious, festive cocktail that makes excellent use of leftover cranberry sauce. A shot of bourbon adds spicy depth, along with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a splash of ginger beer.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons homemade or store-bought cranberry sauce
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • Ginger beer or club soda
  • 1 lemon peel twist for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add cranberry sauce to a rocks glass and then add the bourbon and lemon juice. Stir to combine.
  2. Add ice, then top with ginger beer or club soda, to taste. Stir again and garnish with lemon twist.
