Cream Cheese Butter Mints

These Chocolate Dipped Cream Cheese Butter Mints are the perfect after dinner mint. They are cool and chocolatey with a hint of refreshing mint.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 2 pounds powdered sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Creme de Menthe Syrup or 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • chocolate chips for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, and syrup.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar until completely mixed in. Mixture will be really thick.
  3. Add the mix into a piping bag and pipe small dollops out on to a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate to firm up.

Notes

  • Optional: once firm, dip one side in a bowl of melted chocolate chips, then return to cookie sheet.
  • Keep in fridge, serve chilled.
  • Add a little food coloring to match the colors for a special event.
