Cream Cheese Caramel Apple Dip

This cream cheese caramel apple cheesecake dip is easy and delicious. This toffee apple dip is the best Heath bar apple dip you'll ever make.

Ingredients

  • 2 bricks (8 oz) cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup + 2 tablespoons brown sugar divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large apple diced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 1 cup caramel dip
  • 1 cup Toffee bits
For Serving
  • vanilla wafers
  • Graham crackers

Instructions

  1. Beat the cream cheese, ½ cup brown sugar and the vanilla together in a bowl, then spread in a quart sized dish. Refrigerate until the apples are cooked and cooled.
  2. Cook the apples, butter, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and the apple pie spice until tender. Cool for 10 minutes, then spread over the cream cheese.
  3. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the apples and top with toffee bits.
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Serve with cookies and crackers.

Notes

  • Serve with vanilla wafers, graham crackers, apple or pear slices.
  • Use full-fat cream cheese that's not too soft or runny to help dip set properly so dip spreads nicely.
  • Be sure to cool the cooked apples before adding them to the dip.
  • For a more refreshing cream cheese layer, try adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture before beating it.
  • For a smoother cream cheese layer, use a hand mixer to blend until creamy.
