- 2 bricks (8 oz) cream cheese, room temperature
- ½ cup + 2 tablespoons brown sugar divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large apple diced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1 cup caramel dip
- 1 cup Toffee bits
For Serving
- vanilla wafers
- Graham crackers
Instructions
- Beat the cream cheese, ½ cup brown sugar and the vanilla together in a bowl, then spread in a quart sized dish. Refrigerate until the apples are cooked and cooled.
- Cook the apples, butter, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and the apple pie spice until tender. Cool for 10 minutes, then spread over the cream cheese.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the apples and top with toffee bits.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve with cookies and crackers.

Notes
- Serve with vanilla wafers, graham crackers, apple or pear slices.
- Use full-fat cream cheese that's not too soft or runny to help dip set properly so dip spreads nicely.
- Be sure to cool the cooked apples before adding them to the dip.
- For a more refreshing cream cheese layer, try adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture before beating it.
- For a smoother cream cheese layer, use a hand mixer to blend until creamy.
