Ingredients

Pound Cake:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter , softened
  • 2 3/4 cups sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese , softened
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
To Finish:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

Pound Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Spray a 10" bundt cake pan or plain tube pan with baking spray.
  3. To your stand mixer add the butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes.
  4. Add in the cream cheese, buttermilk and sour cream and beat until well combined.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time until well mixed.
  6. Add in the vanilla extract.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  8. Add in 1/2 cup of the flour mixture at a time until just combined.
  9. Pour into bundt cake pan and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 75-80 minutes.
  11. Cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan and cooling completely.
To Finish:
  1. Dust with powdered sugar.
