Ingredients

  • 12 Jalapeno peppers halved lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (finely chopped)

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and finely chopped green onions. Mix the ingredients until well combined.
  3. Spoon the cheese mixture into the halved jalapeño peppers, distributing it evenly among them.
  4. Arrange the filled jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake them in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the peppers are tender, and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
