Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 10-12 minutes. Cool, peel, and chop the eggs.
  2. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth, then gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and reaches a boil.
  3. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, then add the chopped eggs, stirring until heated through.
