Ingredients

  • ¼ cup / 35g blueberries frozen
  • 1 cup / 240ml almond milk unsweetened
  • 1 oz / 30g avocado circa ¼ small avocado
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sweetener optional

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and add optional sweetener if required.

Notes

  • This recipe makes about 300 ml (10 fl oz) of smoothie with approximately 4.8g net carbs.
  • Vanilla extract can be swapped for a squeeze of lemon or lime juice to add a tangy twist.
  • Add a tablespoon of MCT oil for increased fat content if desired.
  • Almond milk can be replaced with coconut milk or other nut and seed milks, but using dairy milk will increase carbohydrate content.
