Creamy Chicken Cordon Blue Casserole

This casserole recipe takes all of the flavors of a great chicken cordon bleu and makes them into a crunchy, tender, and cheesy casserole for the whole family to enjoy!

Ingredients

  • one ounce package wide egg noodles (cooked to al dente)
  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 2 cups grated Swiss Cheese
  • 1 .5-oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Cracker Topping
  • ¼ cup butter (melted)
  • 1 leeve Ritz crackers
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the soup, sour cream, heavy cream, dijon mustard, onion powder, garlic powder and mix until combined completely. Stir in the cooked noodles, ham, chicken and shredded cheese.
  3. Turn out into the prepared pan, smoothing out into an even layer,
  4. Combine the crushed crackers and melted butter. Stir in the Parmesan cheese then sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
  5. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake until the top is browned and the casserole is bubbling, another 15-20 minutes.
  6. Remove and cool for 10 minutes, then serve hot. Garnish with fresh parsley.
