Creamy Harissa Dressing
Creamy Harissa Dressing blends tahini, lemon juice, maple syrup, garlic, and harissa seasoning into a thick, tangy, and mildly spicy sauce. The addition of water adjusts the consistency for drizzling or dipping, creating a flavorful dressing with Middle Eastern influence and a balance of heat, creaminess, and citrus brightness.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup tahini
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave
- 1 medium clove garlic grated or minced
- 3 to 4 teaspoons harissa dried blend
- 2 to 3 Tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon salt fine sea salt
Instructions
- Combine the tahini, lemon juice, and maple syrup in a bowl, and whisk until smooth.
- Add the garlic, 3 teaspoons harissa seasoning, 1 tablespoon water, and salt, and whisk again. For a thinner consistency add another tablespoon or two of water.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more harissa or sweetness if desired. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Refrigerate the harissa dressing and use within four days for best flavor and freshness.
