Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 16 oz (450g) brown mushrooms or white mushrooms, cleaned and stems trimmed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes smoked Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and sauté the garlic until slightly browned. Then add the mushrooms and stir for a few moments.
  2. Add the chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, salt, smoked paprika, and oregano. Stir to combine all the ingredients well. Add the Parmesan cheese and cook until it melts. Stir in the lemon juice. Remove from heat, garnish with lemon wedges, and serve immediately.
