Creamy Mushroom Ravioli

Creamy Mushroom Ravioli features four-cheese ravioli served in a rich mushroom sauce made with butter, garlic, milk, flour, and Parmesan. The sauce thickens gently around tender sautéed mushrooms and coats the delicate ravioli, creating a harmonious creamy texture. Fresh parsley and extra Parmesan garnish provide a fresh, savory finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic clove, minced
  • 4 cups mushroom sliced
  • 1 cup milk reduced fat or whole
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 10 oz four cheese ravioli Rana brand
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • parsley grated, to garnish
  • Parmesan Cheese grated, to garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter and saute garlic for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk together milk and flour.
  4. Add the milk mixture to the mushrooms and cook for about 1 minute until the sauce starts to thicken.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese, some salt and pepper and stir.
  6. Add ravioli and gently mix them with the mushroom sauce.
  7. Garnish with some grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Start boiling water for ravioli right before preparing the sauce to have them finish cooking close to sauce completion.
  • Cook ravioli for about two minutes until just done, then transfer to sauce gently to avoid breaking.
