Creamy Mushroom Ravioli
Creamy Mushroom Ravioli features four-cheese ravioli served in a rich mushroom sauce made with butter, garlic, milk, flour, and Parmesan. The sauce thickens gently around tender sautéed mushrooms and coats the delicate ravioli, creating a harmonious creamy texture. Fresh parsley and extra Parmesan garnish provide a fresh, savory finish.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic clove, minced
- 4 cups mushroom sliced
- 1 cup milk reduced fat or whole
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 10 oz four cheese ravioli Rana brand
- salt
- black pepper
- parsley grated, to garnish
- Parmesan Cheese grated, to garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter and saute garlic for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Meanwhile, whisk together milk and flour.
- Add the milk mixture to the mushrooms and cook for about 1 minute until the sauce starts to thicken.
- Add Parmesan cheese, some salt and pepper and stir.
- Add ravioli and gently mix them with the mushroom sauce.
- Garnish with some grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
Notes
- Start boiling water for ravioli right before preparing the sauce to have them finish cooking close to sauce completion.
- Cook ravioli for about two minutes until just done, then transfer to sauce gently to avoid breaking.
