Ingredients
Brussels Sprouts
- 1 ½ pounds brussels sprouts, halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Creamy Sauce
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium-sized skillet, add 1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and 3 cloves garlic,. Sauté until almost tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the Brussels sprouts, and then set them aside.
- Add ½ cup chicken broth, ½ cup heavy cream, and 2 teaspoons cornstarch and whisk together until smooth. Add ½ cup parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.
- Add the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat in the creamy sauce until warmed through.
