Ingredients

Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 ½ pounds brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
Creamy Sauce
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized skillet, add 1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and 3 cloves garlic,. Sauté until almost tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the Brussels sprouts, and then set them aside.
  2. Add ½ cup chicken broth, ½ cup heavy cream, and 2 teaspoons cornstarch and whisk together until smooth. Add ½ cup parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.
  3. Add the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat in the creamy sauce until warmed through.
