Creamy Peppermint Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 3 large scoops vanilla ice cream
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 2 tablespoons Crushed candy canes or peppermints
Garnish
  • Whipped Cream optional
  • 1 candy cane crushed, optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, and crushed candy cane in blender or milkshake. Pulse until mixed.
  2. Top with whipped cream (optional) and crushed candy cane.

Notes

  • Peppermint extract is stronger than mint extract so if you only have mint extract, you'll likely need to add a bit extra.
  •  
  • Crush your own candy canes for the prettiest garnish.
  • Red and white candy canes make the best color, if green is added the colors can get muddled.
  • Serve immediately, milkshakes can melt quickly!
