Ingredients
- ½ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Ground
- 1 Tablespoon paprika powder smoked if possible or sweet
- ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper Ground
- 1 Teaspoon onion powder
- ½ Teaspoon thyme dried
- ½ Teaspoon Celery Leaves Dried crushed
- 1 Teaspoon oregano dried
- ½ Teaspoon basil dried
Instructions
- Place all your ingredients into a bowl.
- Mix well so that no pieces are left.
- Store the seasoning mixture into an airtight container for future use or use directly in your cooking.

Notes
- To make the creole seasoning with whole spices and herbs (not powdered) from scratch follow the instructions in the related homemade cajun seasoning recipe.
- You can double or triple (or multiply by 5!) the recipe to make a bigger quantity of the creole seasoning, however, it's not needed because it's so easily put together. You are better off making the creole seasoning each time again when you are planning to use it the same day in your cooking.
