Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line two muffin tins with 18 muffin liners.
  2. Add butter and chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second increments until smooth and glossy.
  3. Add eggs to stand mixer and mix on medium speed until lighter in color, about 1 minute.
  4. Add sugar and mix for 5 seconds.
  5. Add in the butter-chocolate mixture, and mix until well combined.
  6. Add in flour and salt until just combined.
  7. Scoop into muffin liners and bake for 22-25 minutes until tops are dry and crinkly.
