Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale (about 1/2 lb)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt adjust to taste

Instructions

Prep & Cut
    Cup of Yum
  1. Wash and dry kale leaves. Spread each leaf on a cutting board. Cut the leaves from the spine. Discard the spine and roughly tear the leaves into small pieces.
Season
  1. Transfer kale to a bowl. Toss with olive oil and salt making sure each leaf is coated with a thin layer of oil. Transfer them to air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches based on the size of your air fryer. You can cover the kale with an air fryer rack. This helps to avoid the kale from flying around in the air fryer.
Air Fry
  1. Air fry them at 350°F for about 6 minutes. Shake the basket at 4 minutes. Keep a close eye after 4 minutes.
  2. Kale chips are ready. Remove them in a serving plate. Enjoy as is or with a dip.
