Ingredients
- 6 bone-in chicken thighs (skin on)
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Mix in chicken broth to thin the sauce.
- Place chicken thighs in the Crock Pot.
- Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6 hours until chicken is tender.
- Preheat the oven's broiler. Transfer chicken to a baking sheet, brush with sauce from the Crock Pot, and broil for 5 minutes or until the skin is crispy.
- Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
